When we hear about ‘Triple A’ what readily comes to mind is the common batteries we are using to operate the remote controls in various homes all over the world.  One thing that is noteworthy about this battery is the amazing electrical energy that it discharges.  That is why its popularly known as energizer battery.  This battery, especially the alkaline brand does not easily wear out.  It always lasts longer than other brands of batteries.  In addition to this illustration, the type of grade that a child obtains that pleases both the teacher and the parents is when the student get an ‘A’ grade, because the grade is synonymous to ‘Excellent’ performance of the student.

Therefore, Triple ‘A’ acronym represents the divine Approval, Appointment and Anointing of Almighty God that are the three vital and remarkable attributes that rightly define a true servant of God that is in right standing before the Living God whole-heartedly operating to please Him.

AApproval

Noah was divinely approved. The testimony of his approval was stated in the scripture for our learning and understanding. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.” (Genesis 6:8-9) Noah did not let his divine approval enter his head and lose control.  He never lost focus of the grace of God. He never succumbed to the arms of flesh of his time. He did not yield to the wicked persuasion of worldliness of his time. He walked diligently and faithfully with God all the days of his ministry to please God. He wholeheartedly obeyed the commandments of God as to the specifications of the length and width of the Ark and the specific gopher-wood and other materials for building the boat of salvation. Finally, Noah brought into the ark the male and female genders of animals and birds according to the instructions of Almighty God. God testified to his faithfulness saying, “Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he. (Genesis 6:22)

AAppointment

Moses was divinely appointed. His appointment documentation is entrenched in the scripture for our consideration to enlighten the eyes of our understanding as follow:

Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt. And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt? And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain. (Exodus 3:10-12) The Lord did not appoint him without equipping him. He revealed His name unto Moses. “And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.” (Exodus 3:14) With uncommon miraculous signs, God ascertained His divine presence with Moses in the appointed mission. “And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod. And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it. And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand” (Exodus 4:2-4)  The Lord further convinced Moses because of the doubtfulness of mankind especially the unbelieving mindedness of the Israelites in Egypt at this time. And the LORD said furthermore unto him, Put now thine hand into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow. And he said, Put thine hand into thy bosom again. And he put his hand into his bosom again; and plucked it out of his bosom, and, behold, it was turned again as his other flesh.” (Exodus 4:6-7) Although he was still reluctant to take up this divine appointment because of his speech impairment of stuttering, but God Almighty encouraged him again. “And Moses said unto the LORD, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue. And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man’s mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD? Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.” (Exodus 4:10-12)

AAnointing

  • Aaron and His Sons were anointed as Priest: “And thou shalt sanctify them, that they may be most holy: whatsoever toucheth them shall be holy. And thou shalt anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office. And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, This shall be an holy anointing oil unto me throughout your generations.” (Exodus 30:29-31)

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” (Acts 2:1-4)

The grace that God had extended to us should be used for His glory.  We must do everything within our power, to play to the spiritual gallery of God in our righteous characters, in holiness and in obedience to His word, looking forward to cherishing and treasuring the approval of Almighty God. We must place God in the position of honor and pre-eminence in our hearts every day.  We must fervently exhibit God pleasing faith in our God’s appointed offices. We must earnestly seek for the anointing of Holy Spirit and must actively be operating in the power of the anointing and ensure that the Spirit of God in us is not grieved. We must be watchful to ensure that the anointing of the Holy Spirit is not frustrated by paying detailed attention to yielding in obedience to the divine impulses of Holy Spirit. The spiritual Triple ‘A’s is a combination of energizing blessings for spiritual serious-minded servants of God. Please reach forth to attain the divine touch of God.

I humbly plead for your divine approval, appointment and anointing, Merciful Father. Cause me to excel in the ministry that you had allotted to unto me in Your vineyard.
