No one was born with any skill or ability. No one was born with wisdom and we did not come to this world with any acquired ability. We watch others doing a certain thing, we learn a skill, we replicate what other people have done and we improve upon the invention of other people in order to ultimately improve upon the worth of our lives on earth.
Wherever we learn our skill or our acquired knowledge, whether in the local vocational setting or within the wall of educational facilities, after the system of the education had rigorously molded and shaped us, we become specialized in our various field. Some specialized in teaching others and teaching became their profession. Some specialized in caring for others in the hospital setting, and they became medical professionals. Some provides services relating to electricity and we call them electricians. Some provides public services in driving people from one place to the other and we call them professional drivers. Some specialized in mobilizing human being to achieve a common goal for the corporate entity, they call these people administrators. Every form of skill or vocation, be it vocational licensing skill or higher institution degree related attainments, they all started from a common beginning call education.
Beyond memorizing ABC … and 123 … in the kindergarten, the desire our Creator is that we may apply our wisdom and understanding to bless humanity. That is why the Godly parents instill godliness in the characters of their children so that they can apply their attained educational goals righteously. At the beginning of our early education the godly roles of the parents and people in authorities in our lives is very important. As these human angels are entrenching Christlike characters into our ways of life and the way we relate to others, they are unwittingly taking us through education without crisis. Ultimately when we obtain our desired educational goals and we become profitable in our various desired field, we will be able to apply the same to bless other people around us. In order to acquire a means of putting bread on the table for our families without hurting or infringing on the rights of our neighbors, we must go through ‘education without crises.’
If anyone take Christ out of the educational system of any nation, it means the individual have indirectly allowed crisis to sneak in to replace righteousness. When children are not taught the reverential fear of God, they denied them the primary principle of application of wisdom. Fear of God guided Joseph to make a righteous decision in the house of his master that piloted him to the ultimate purpose of his creation. “And it came to pass after these things, that his master’s wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me. But he refused, and said unto his master’s wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand; There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” (Genesis 39:7-9) “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.” (Psalm 111:10) ‘Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6) Better still, train up a child in a godly way when he is old he will not depart from it. If we do not want crookedness in the lives of our children, we must lay the foundation of righteousness in their hearts. We must train them in the peaceful and loving ways of God. We have witnessed so many depravity and degenerated character traits in our society and we wonder why some people are manifesting in despicable ways of life, it is because Christ is not formed in their characters. If we do not like the atrocities of our environment, we can change the trend of evil in our societies by beginning with training ourselves in the prescribed righteousness of the word of God. That is why we have to build in Christlike characters in our children education that includes mercy, love, thoughtfulness and sacrificial services. As a principle, we must understand that education with Christ is education without crisis. We have to entrench Christlike characters into our ways of life. By so doing, we will be able to pass on a good legacy of holiness and righteousness to our children.
Prayer: O Lord, granted me the grace to yield to your precepts. Let Christlike characters be formed in me O Lord, so that I can become an instrument of blessing to others in this world, in Jesus name, Amen.
