If this is one of the evangelism tracts you will read before the end comes, please I humbly plead that you should please endeavor to read this “Seven Valid Proofs of Eternity.”  You will not be bored and certainly your eyes of understanding will be enlightened. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

God created both Heaven and earth and He created man in His own image. “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” (Genesis 1:27) He is a Holy and righteous Judge. Because He is the Creator, He does whatever is holy and righteous that pleases Him. The power and authority resides in Him. He blesses the righteous and He righteously judge the wicked and cut off their generation on the surface of the earth. In the days of Noah, His judgment came upon the wicked generation but He preserved the righteous Noah and his children in the Ark He commanded Noah to build.  In the days of Lot, His judgment came upon Sodom and Gomorrah for their sins.  The two cities were reduced to ashes but the family of Lot were preserved and saved at the intercessory prayers of Abraham the friend of God.

Lesson 1: There is blessed assurance for the righteous in the eternity of rest.  There is also an impending grievous destruction waiting for the wicked in the hell fire.

“That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie” (Hebrews 6:18) “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” (Numbers 23:19)  God is a Spirit. Unlike humanity that is susceptible to lying, every utterance of God is truth. He is truth personification. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6) He comforted and assured His disciples, saying, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14:1-3)

Lesson 2: God is a Spirit, not a man. He is God of truth and does not tell lies.  Whatever He says, He is able to do it. As Jesus Christ had told us that he had prepared a place for us, He is talking about eternity in the Kingdom of God. He is coming back again

God is the King of the eternal Kingdom of God. “Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.” (1 Timothy 1:17)  Jesus Christ His only Begotten Son admonished that man place priority in seeking the kingdom of God  and His righteousness. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33) Jesus Christ is teaching man the way of Heaven because the only thing that is profitable to mankind is eternity in the Kingdom of God. “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Mark 8:36-38)

Lesson 3: We must prioritize a profitable relationship in righteousness and Holiness with God, the King of the Kingdom of Heaven that will certainly enhance our eternity.

Jesus is resurrection and power. “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” (John 11: 25-26) The power of our Lord Jesus Christ transcend the power of death.  He raised up Lazarus from the grave, after four days in the grave. Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with grave-clothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go. (John 11:39, 43-44) Jesus Christ was crucified by His persecutors, He bled and died on the Cross of Calvary. He was buried but on the third day, He resurrected.  “Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.” (John 10:17-18) He is the only one that has power to resurrect from the grave by Himself according to His infinite supernatural power. After this, He ascended to heaven on His own. “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.” (John 3:13) “And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.” (Acts 1:9)

Lesson 4: Jesus has power to quicken the dead body and raise it up, also has power to quicken His own dead body from the grave and raise Himself up. At the end time, when the rapture take place, “the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16) If you are in Lord, whether died or alive, He will come to raise you up and take you eternity.

The Book of Hebrews wrote about father Abraham the Patriarch saying, “By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. (Hebrew 10:9-10) Abraham the father of faith was the heir of the promise of eternity. From Genesis, the first book of the Bible, and throughout his life-time on earth, he remained focused on the revelation of eternity because He had seen that God Almighty laid the foundation of the city of the New Jerusalem in Heaven and He is the builder and maker of the city.

Lesson 5: Father Abraham eventually inherit that eternity whose builder and maker is God. In Luke 16:22, when Lazarus the beggar died, the angel of God led his procession to the bosom of Abraham in heaven. “And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom …” The bosom of Abraham is obviously suggesting eternity of rest in the passage. That was why the rich sinner was requesting that the finger of Lazarus be dipped in the water to quench his thirst in hell fire.

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:12-13,15)  Many thousands of years before Jesus was born in the city of Jerusalem, Moses was opened to the revelation of the Book of Life in the presences of God in the beginning, at the unset of the second book of the Bible. In his intercessory prayer, Moses pled for forgiveness of the sins of the Israelites, He put his own life on the line during the prayer saying: “Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written. And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.” (Exodus 32:32-33)

Lesson 6: If your name is not in the register of the saints in the Book of Life, and remained imprinted and unblotted in the presence of God, it means you are in danger of eternity in hell fire. Therefore, endeavor to ensure that your name is registered in the Book of Life when you enter into contract of salvation through the redemptive blood of Jesus Christ. Ensure that it is not blotted out by maintaining it with righteous and holy deeds on earth.

There are two definitive ways to two designated fixed addresses in eternity. The scripture enlightened us about this important fact. “You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14 NLT)  Jesus Christ described His home in heaven in the book of John 14:1-3. “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” He gave us the inviting description of this perfect home that had been prepared for the righteous people, and assurance that He is coming back to lead the righteous to the place of rest. In the like manner, He also gave a perfect description of the horrible home of evil entity called Satan with the scary and repulsive description of the address in eternity. “So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 13:49-50)

Lesson 7: Endeavor not to be a spiritual ignorant person on earth. The scripture says, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32)  You should endeavor to think deeply before you take important spiritual decision on earth.  You are accounted for the eternity you chose.

Lastly, our journey on this earth will end one day either by natural death or by the second coming of Jesus Christ. “For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16) “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” (2 Peter 3:10) It is truly scary but it is a fact.

Even before God brought the earth to its end in destruction, obviously, with a little provocation between two or more leaders of aggressive nations, the humanity dwelling on earth are working vigorously toward destroying the earth one day. We are hearing rumor of wars here and there around us. These are the scary warning signs. The stockpile nuclear bombs around the world today is 15405 units[1] that can destroy the whole planet seventeen times over. We have not accounted for stockpile of chemical and biological weapons in various countries all over the world. We have not talk about the various deadly conventional weapons owned by each nations of the world. For all these reasons we must be heavenly conscious. We must be thinking heaven every day. Eternity should always be in our view. Therefore beloved, think heaven! Eternity will worth the glorious efforts
