Gather My Pieces Together

I have strayed so long in the vanity of life,
I have drifted away in the emptiness of life.
I wake up today realizing the agony of my folly.
O Lord, gather my pieces together for your purpose.
Fill my emptiness with fullness of your mercy.

You have been patient enough for my rethink,
You have been waiting in love for my return.
I reset my life today in the covenant of your salvation.
O Lord, gather my pieces together for your purpose.
Fill my emptiness with fullness of your grace.

Your extended mercy towards me endureth forever,
But the unrealized potentials in me are rusting away.
I don’t want to come to your presence without a fruit.
O Lord, gather my pieces together for your purpose.
Fill my emptiness with fullness of your vision.

While my fingers can work and my legs can walk,
And my energy is yet to be dissipated on nothingness,
I humbly offer my vessel for your glorious service.
O Lord, gather my pieces together for your purpose.
Fill my emptiness with fullness of your power.

The filled hour-glass of life will soon be empty,
The day so bright will soon drift to a night so long.
O Lord I want to behold the bright light of your glory.
Father, gather my pieces together for your purpose.
Fill my emptiness with fullness of your glory.
