Proverbs 18:10 “The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.”

Philippian 2:9-11 “Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Acts 4:12 “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

John 1:12-13 “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”

Moses took the name of the Lord, (I AM THAT I AM) to the Israelites, they embraced his leadership. Exodus 3:13-14 “And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

After Moses confronted Pharaoh, and the Egyptian king increased the burden of the Israelites, Moses went back to God to bring the development to God. God did not give weapon. He only revealed His name to Moses.

“Exodus 5:22-23 “And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Lord, wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people? why is it that thou hast sent me? For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all.

Exodus 6:1-4 Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land. And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD: And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.
Revelation of the name of God to Moses brought miraculous victory unto the Israelites over the kingdom of Pharaoh that enslaved them.

Jesus entered into dialogue with the disciples and asked, “What do the people call me?” The disciples gave their own versions of what people called Him. Then He asked them the same question, “What do you call me?” After a brief thinking, Peter answered and said, “Thou art Christ, the Son of Living God”

Matthew 16:13-20 “When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.

Upon the revelation of the name of Christ from the mouth of Peter, Our Lord Jesus Christ prophesied powerfully about the establishment of His Church, and also unlimited spiritual power of the church over forces of darkness and attack of the evil ones was established. Lastly the the grace of the prayers of the elects and its supernatural power was given unto the elects.

Have you ever wondered why Christians are praying in the name of Jesus Christ?

John 14:13-14 “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

No one desires to be called an ignorant individual. The above bible quotations are biblical facts that should be entrenched in our mind. If you do not know the only name that makes difference both in heaven and on earth an important spiritual information is elusive to you. In all seriousness you are sincerely ignorant spiritually. Be wise today as the word of God had come to you.

Prayer: O Lord, endow me with the knowledge of your truth so that I will not remain a perpetually spiritual ignorant person. Let me partake in the blessing of knowing your name, in Jesus name, Amen.
