THY THRONE, O GOD (LYRICS)
In the stillness of the morning, we lift our hearts in praise,
To the One who reigns in glory, through the ages, You amaze.
Your scepter is of righteousness, Your love, a guiding light,
n the beauty of Your presence, darkness turns to radiant bright.
Thy throne, O God, forever stands, a kingdom built on grace,
With joy and peace, we lift our hands, and seek Your holy face.
You love what’s right, You hate the wrong, in You, our hope is found,
Thy throne, O God, our hearts belong, in Your love, we are unbound.
You anoint us with gladness, as we walk this sacred way,
In the trials and the triumphs, You are with us every day.
Your faithfulness surrounds us, like a shield against the storm,
In the arms of our Redeemer, we are safe, we are reborn.
In the echoes of Your mercy, we find strength to carry on,
With each breath, we sing Your glory, in Your love, we are made strong.
At the dawn of every morning, in the firmament, Your glory is declared.
In the ordinance of the day, the relevance of Your grace is revealed.
In Your love, we are unbound
In the echoes of Your mercy, we find strength to carry on,
With each breath, we sing Your glory, in Your love, we are made strong.
At the dawn of every morning, in the firmament, Your glory is declared.
In the ordinance of the day, the relevance of Your grace is revealed.

BIBLE REFERENCE
Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre. Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. (Psalm 45:6-7)
