LET THE WICKED FORSAKE HIS WAYS (LYRICS)
In sincere search of peace with God, I opted for path of mercy,
I hear whispers of mercy calling, urging hearts that long to leap.
Turn away from all the darkness, let the burdens fall away,
For the grace of God is waiting, offering a brand-new day.
Let the wicked forsake his ways, and the unrighteous his thoughts,
Return to the Lord, He’ll have mercy, His love cannot be bought.
He will freely pardon all who seek, His ways are higher still,
In the arms of His compassion, find the peace that’s in His will.
When the weight of past decisions tries to pull me down in shame,
I lift my eyes to the horizon, and I humbly call upon His holy name.
The Lord is waiting with forgiveness, ready to embrace the lost,
In the depths of His redemption, find the hope that’s worth the cost.
Let the wicked forsake his ways, and the unrighteous his thoughts,
Return to the Lord, He’ll have mercy, His love cannot be bought.
He will freely pardon all who seek, His ways are higher still,
In the arms of His compassion, find the peace that’s in His will.
Every heart that seeks His presence, every soul that longs for grace,
Will discover in His kindness, there’s a warm and safe embrace.
So come, weary and broken, let His light shine through your fears,
In the promise of His mercy, find the joy that wipes your tears.
Let the wicked forsake his ways, and the unrighteous his thoughts,
Return to the Lord, He’ll have mercy, His love cannot be bought.
He will freely pardon all who seek, His ways are higher still,
In the arms of His compassion, find the peace that’s in His will.
