BE NOT UNEQUALLY YOKED (LYRICS)
The way of the wicked is perverse and their tongue deadly,
We’ll seek the light of God’s wisdom to guide us in the way.
We’re united in Chist’s love, but we’ll never mingle with evil.
The bonds that bring us closer must be anchored in the light.
Be not unequally yoked with the wicked, saith the Lord.
Light and darkness does not have anything in common.
“Come out from among them, be ye separate, saith the Lord
A Father I’ll be unto you, ye will be my sons and daughters.”
When the voices of the world try to pull us from holy ground,
We’ll walk in the light of God, no communion with darkness.
The righteous walk in the light of His grace, triumph over evil.
In the strength of our embrace with Christ, we’ll not be moved.
Be not unequally yoked with the wicked, saith the Lord.
Light and darkness does not have anything in common.
“Come out from among them, be ye separate, saith the Lord
A Father I’ll be unto you, ye will be my sons and daughters.”
You have called us to be holy, set apart for Your great name,
In the fellowship of believers, we’ll stand boldly and upright.
With a vision that is clear, Lord, we’ll stand on where You lead,
With the right attitude within, we will be guided by His truth.
Be not unequally yoked with the wicked, saith the Lord.
Light and darkness does not have anything in common.
“Come out from among them, be ye separate, saith the Lord
A Father I’ll be unto you, ye will be my sons and daughters.”

BIBLE REFERENCE
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. (2 Corinthians 6:14-18)
