UNITY OF THE BODY OF CHRIST (LYRICS)

In the tapestry of heaven, every thread a sacred part,
We are woven into oneness, each with a unique heart.
Through the trials and the triumphs, we’ll stand and lift each other,
In the love that binds us closely, we are sisters, we are brothers.

We must endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit
Through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit,
Just as we are all called in one hope of our calling.
One Lord, one faith, one baptism; One God and Father of all,
Who is above all and through all, and in all elects.

When the world tries to divide us, we will rise above the fray,
With compassion as our anchor, we will walk the narrow way.
Every voice in harmony, singing praises to His holy name,
In the strength of our connection, we will never be the same.

We must endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit
Through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit,
Just as we are all called in one hope of our calling.
One Lord, one faith, one baptism; One God and Father of all,
Who is above all and through all, and in all elects.

Let our hearts be filled with kindness, Let our hands be quick to serve,
For together in His presence, We will find the strength we need.
In the love that knows no borders, We will shine as one bright light,
We are united in His purpose, We must reflect His love in kindness.

We must endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit
Through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit,
Just as we are all called in one hope of our calling.
One Lord, one faith, one baptism; One God and Father of all,
Who is above all and through all, and in all elects.

BIBLE REFERENCE

Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Ephesians 4:3-6)
