THE LORD IS MY SALVATION (LYRICS)
The shadows close around me, and the night is cold and long,
I will lift my voice in worship, for in You, Oh Lord, I am strong.
Though the world may rise against me, I will stand in Your truth,
For Your light is my protection, and Your presence protects me.
The Lord is my light and my salvation, I will not fear.
The Lord is the strength of my life, I will not be afraid.
He will hide me in His shelter on the day of trouble.
In His tabernacle, He will hide and set me upon a rock.
In the midst of every battle, when my heart begins to shake,
I will trust in Your assurance, knowing You will never break
Though an army may surround me, I will not be filled with dread,
Your peace will be my fortress, and Your love will be my shield.
The Lord is my light and my salvation, I will not fear.
The Lord is the strength of my life, I will not be afraid.
He will hide me in His shelter on the day of trouble.
In His tabernacle, He will hide and set me upon a rock.
So, I’ll walk with bold conviction, with my eyes set on the prize,
In the hope of Your salvation, I will rise and never compromise.
Every moment, every heartbeat, I will trust in what You say,
For the Lord is my salvation, guiding me in the journey of life.
The Lord is my light and my salvation, I will not fear.
The Lord is the strength of my life, I will not be afraid.
He will hide me in His shelter on the day of trouble.
In His tabernacle, He will hide and set me upon a rock.

BIBLE REFERENCE
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. (Psalm 27:1,3,5)
