CAST ALL YOUR CARES UPON HIM (LYRICS)
In the quiet of the evening, when the worries start to rise,
I will lay my burdens down, trusting in Your loving eyes.
Every fear that weighs upon me, every doubt that clouds my way,
I will cast them before Christ, knowing He’ll guide me by grace.
Humble yourselves before the Heavenly King,
So that at the appointed time He may exalt you.
Casting all your cares upon Him, He cares for you.
Be sober and vigilant, the adversary roars like lion,
Seeking and targeting whom he may devour.
When the storms of life are raging, and the path is hard to see,
I will find my strength in Jesus, for He walks along with me.
In the trials and the heartache, I will stand and trust His plan,
For His grace will be my anchor, in His love, I’ll firmly stand.
Humble yourselves before the Heavenly King,
So that at the appointed time He may exalt you.
Casting all your cares upon Him, He cares for you.
Be sober and vigilant, the adversary roars like lion,
Seeking and targeting whom he may devour.
I’ll lift my voice in worship, knowing He is always near,
In the shadows and the valleys, I will cast away my fear.
The One who holds the Heavens also holds my fragile heart,
In His arms, I find my refuge, where my worries dissipate.
Humble yourselves before the Heavenly King,
So that at the appointed time He may exalt you.
Casting all your cares upon Him, He cares for you.
Be sober and vigilant, the adversary roars like lion,
Seeking and targeting whom he may devour.

BIBLE REFERENCE
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:6-8)
