Walking By Faith

WALKING BY FAITH (LYRIC)

When the road is dim and the night so long,
I’m leaning on promises that won’t grow dim.
Every fear I face becomes a song of praise,
For Your word becomes my confidence refrain.
Though I can’t see the finish line ahead,
I’ll still journey on, doubts cannot hinder me.
Your Spirit steadies every trembling thread,
And turns my waiting into His story of victory.

Hand in hand, we walk by faith, not by sight
When the body fades, hope holds the light
I’m confident, fully persuaded with all my mind
Home in Your presence, is nearer day by day,
Walking by faith, humbly we’ll faithfully stand

I trade my doubts for Your unfailing living truth,
Let Your mercy rise where worry used to be.
In weakness, Your grace grows strong for me,
And every breath becomes my prayer unto Thee.
Let the storms roar, they can’t erase Your grace
The power of the unseen, is steadfast and kind.
I’ll boldly move forward, in grace for every place,
Until this faith becomes evidently sighted in me.

Christ take my hands through the unknown miles,
Write my name in Your “well done” Book of Life.
If this world ends today, Your love still smiles at me
Hand in Hand with Him, I walk by faith, I’m His child.

BIBLE REFERENCE

For we walk by faith, not by sight: We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
