PUT ON THE NEW MAN (LYRICS)
Let’s put away the works of darkness.
Let God’s mercy wash away the stains.
With every breath, let grace of faith arise,
A living hope beneath the new skies.
Put on the new man, created in God’s grace,
Renewed in the spirit, reflecting His face.
Leave the old life, let the new life begin,
Walk in righteousness, and holiness within.
Put on the new man, stand strong and free,
Become new person made new for eternity.
No longer driven by the sins of the past,
We choose the truth, we walk His way.
His light will guide us through the night,
His love will make our new spirits bright.
Put on the new man, created in God’s grace,
Renewed in the spirit, reflecting His face.
Leave the old life, let the new life begin,
Walk in righteousness, and holiness within.
Put on the new man, stand strong and free,
Become new person made new for eternity.
Beloved, rise up, get up, let the old be gone;
In Christ we’re changed, in Him we march on.
A brand-new creation, renewed from within,
Put on the new man, and let new life begin!
Put on the new man, created in God’s grace,
Renewed in the spirit, reflecting His face.
Leave the old life, let the new life begin,
Walk in righteousness, and holiness within.
Put on the new man, stand strong and free,
Become new person made new for eternity.
