BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD (LYRICS)
When mountains tremble and the waters roar,
When the cloudy shadows gather at my door.
I will lift up my eyes in prayer above the storm,
Trusting in the strength that keeps me warm.
Be still and know that I am God,
I’ll be exalted among every nation,
The Lord of hosts is here with us,
Our refuge strong, our help at hand.
Be still, be still, and be not afraid,
The Lord God of Jacob is our refuge.
Though the earth may shake beneath my feet,
Your faithful presence makes me complete.
In the silence, I will hear Your peaceful voice,
In Your steadfast love, my soul rejoices.
Be still and know that I am God,
I’ll be exalted among every nation,
The Lord of hosts is here with us,
Our refuge strong, our help at hand.
Be still, be still, and be not afraid,
The Lord God of Jacob is our refuge.
You break the bow, and You silence war,
Forever, Oh Lord, You rule and reign.
My heart will rest, and my faith will rise,
The glory of Your presence fills the skies.
Be still and know that I am God,
I’ll be exalted among every nation,
The Lord of hosts is here with us,
Our refuge strong, our help at hand.
Be still, be still, and be not afraid,
The Lord God of Jacob is our refuge.
