THE EYES OF THE LORD ARE WATCHING YOU (LYRICS)
When shadows crowd the narrow road, and every dream feels small,
Lift up your weary soul to God who knows the end before beginning.
Footsteps may falter, hands grow weak, God’s mercy will not move,
A steady flame for hearts that truly seek, A light that proves His truth.
The eyes of the Lord are watching you,
Calmly ranging the earth to find the truth,
He strengthens faithful and upright hearts,
He sees all those who truly give their all.
In the darkest night, in the breaking day,
His gaze will lead you and hold you true,
The eyes of the Lord are watching you.
When doubt knocks aloud and intimidating fear encroach,
Stand firm upon His sure word and His unfailing promise.
Rise up in courage, trust His love He will see you through,
You’re not alone, you’re held by eyes that know the truth.
No painful experience of the righteous,
Can escape the watchful eyes of God.
Humbly commit your heart unto His hand,
His divine touch from above will reach you.
